An estimated 34.8 million people will travel over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, a drop of nearly 1%.  AAA Travel says the decline can be blamed on a big dip in the number of people who will be flying for the weekend.  The agency says the faltering economy and an end of the payroll tax holiday have made budgets tight for travelers.  AAA's president says people are becoming more reluctant to fly because of baggage fees, security hassles and higher ticket costs.
