A San Antonio grandmother has been busted by federal agents for selling cakes.

Maria Perez was hauled into federal court, today, because she's accused of running a small catering company out of her home while she was also collecting full disability benefits from her job as a Management Assistant with the Air Force on the now-shuttered Kelly Air Force Base.

"During undercover operations, the undercover agents ordered and purchased several cakes from Perez," the criminal complaint reads.  "Interviews of multiple witnesses revealed Perez works as a baker for Veronica's Cakery & Special Events."

Perez is accused of lying on a federal form when she did not disclose the extra income.

"She received less than $1,000 in DOL-OWCP benefits she was not entitled to received in 2011," the complaint reads. The Department of Labor, Office of Workers Compensation Program is the agency that handles disability.

If found guilty, she faces one year in federal prison.
