It's hard time for the latest Lackland Air Force Base Military Training Instructor caught up in the sex with recruits scandal.

Former Senior Airman Andrew S. Lira pled guilty to having a sexual relationship with a woman in basic training, and having unprofessional relationships and seeking to have sexual relationships with seven other women,  all of whom were in technical training at the time.

Lira was reduced in rank to Airman Basic, the lowest rank in the Air Force.  He was also sentenced to six months confinement, hard labor without confinement for thirty days, and fined $1200.

Lira is the 23rd court martial in the widening scandal.  The 24th is set to begin on Monday.
