Heavy Rains Pound Region--Flash Flood Warning in Place Until 12:30

  The San Antonio Fire Deportment is urging people to stay off roads due to flash flooding in today’s heavy rains, 1200 WOAI news reports.

  Dozens of calls have been issued for high water.  There has also been one report of a structure collapse at an apartment complex, although no injuries have been reported.

  Heavy rains have fallen in many parts of the region, delivering as much as nine inches of rain.

  A flash flood warning is in place, and barricades are up at many low lying areas.  Remember,.,..don’t drive around barricades.
