Investigators say they are looking into reports of a burglary early this morning at the Bexar County Courthouse, but so far, there is no indication that a crime occurred, 1200 WOAI news reports.

"At this time we are not sure that there was an actual burglary in progress," Sheriff's department spokesman Paul Berry said. "We are reviewing all the surveillance tapes, and we are not entirely sure what has happened."

An off duty deputy reported that he saw two men entering the courthouse through a window about 3AM.

Berry says there were two individuals questioned.

"We did detain two people of interest who fit descriptions of two people who might be involved in a burglary," Berry said. "We talked with them and they cooperated and they have been released."

Berry says if somebody did get into the courthouse, there is no indication that anything was stolen or vandalized.

Construction is also underway at the courthouse, which means there are people around the building at unusual hours, and that may have prompted the burglary call.
