One of the top ten news stories of 2013 has been the rash of wrong way drivers on area highways, and, as the year comes to an end, a tragic incident has reminded us of the problem which will not go away.
1200 WOAI's Michael Main reports a wrong way driver was killed this morning when he was hit head on by an 18 wheeler just west of downtown.
Police say the driver was heading south in the northbound lanes on the upper level of I-35 near Cesar Chavez about 2:30 this morning.
