A former teacher at South San High School has pled guilty to downloading child pornography.

Raul Salazar could face up to 20-years in federal prison.

Federal agents caught the former computer technology applications teacher using two different file-sharing program to amass a collection of perverted pictures on his home computer.  There was no child pornography found on the school's computer and there is no evidence that Salazar had inappropriate contact with any students.

Investigators tell 1200 WOAI's Michael Board that Salazar downloaded kiddie porn the night before school began in 2013.

He began teaching high school in 2006 and resigned when the district was notified of the investigation.

Sentencing is set for June 5th.
