KISS was the first band I ever loved. From 5-8 years old I was suckered in by their brand and the music. Something seems immoral about 4 guys that did that much drugs and that many women yet had this Santa-like hold on little kids. It's like Barney the Dinasour moonlighting as a pimp. This was a rock and roll band living the party life yet their management still allowed them to become ingrained with kids through cartoons, comic strips, lunch boxes and kid friendly movies. It's like Marilyn Manson showing up on an After School Special. I fondly tell the story on the air of the time I went to a KISS show at age 7 and got fried on second hand weed smoke. There were tons of kids there that night! Ahh the 70's. How did America ever recover from them?
