Bye, Bye Baynes?

While it shouldn't be a shock to any Spurs fan, it's possible the Aron Baynes era in San Antonio is coming to a close. From Project Spurs:

According to reports, Baynes would like to stay in San Antonio but a few teams from overseas are offering him more money than what the Spurs are willing to give him.

Currently, the Spurs have one roster spot left to fill and do not seem to be in any rush to re-sign Baynes. Baynes is playing with Team Australia a they prepare for the upcoming 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain.

No shocker. The Spurs have usually kept that open roster spot OPEN. The idea of closing it to keep a player that rarely plays is a long shot. If/when Aron leaves town, I will miss him. Good guy. Liked by fans. Standing by to wish him the best.
