Valley Ranch Is Not A Drug Free Zone

Posted May 6th, 2014 @ 2:10pm

ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys will keep DE prospect Jimmy Jernigan on their draft board despite failing a drug test at the NFL Combine.  Jernigan was one of five players with a diluted urine sample.

Why did the Cowboys keep him on their board? Because this will be the first of MANY years that a player will test positive for drugs.

The younger you are, the more likely it is that you use marijuana. NFL teams cannot be the business of eliminating players for weed.  It will be too many players.  As long as most people see marijuana as a "lesser drug," these players will be given the benefit of the doubt.

Blaze up.
