Rangers Nip Angels With Four-Run Fifth

The Rangers racked up four runs in the fifth inning as they nipped the Angels 5-4 in Arlington. Shin-Soo Choo's two-run triple highlighted the rally. He finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Lance Lynn pitched two-run ball into the sixth inning for the win. Jose Leclerc gave up a run in the ninth, but held on for his fifth save. Texas swept the three-game set and has won four straight overall. Matt Harvey got chased in the fifth inning to take the loss for the Halos. Tommy La Stella homered and Andrelton Simmons drove in two for LA.
