Gerrit Cole allowed one run and struck out 10 over seven innings as the Astros beat the Mariners 6-1 in Houston. Yordan Alvarez drove in three runs with two hits as Houston completed a three-game sweep. J.P. Crawford homered in the first for the Seattle run. Marco Gonzales absorbed the loss, allowing three runs over five innings. The M's have dropped four in a row and to 14-games below .500.
