UTSA Introduces Jeff Traylor As New Head Football Coach

UTSA has formally introduced Jeff Traylor as the new head football coach of the Roadrunners.

During an event at the Alamodome, Traylor said he was excited to be in San Antonio. Traylor said there's no reason the team shouldn't be able to find a lot of support saying, "unbelievable city in San Antonio, seventh largest city in America, Military City USA, I mean come on, who can't get on board with all those things. I mean this is a slam dunk. Piece of cake. Let's get it done!"

Traylor said attendance is important, saying "we need each of you in the seats. It matters."

UTSA President Dr. Taylor Eighmy said, "I really like this idea that we can be to our city of San Antonio, what the Houston Cougars are to Houston or the SMU Mustangs are to Dallas. We have all the ingredients here to do that and achieve that prominence."
