Bexar County Sheriff's Office Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is reporting the first case of one of its employees testing positive for the coronavirus. The civilian employee at the video visitation building started feeling ill soon after returning from a cruise ship on March 15th. But his relatives say they believe he contracted the virus in the community. No uniformed sheriff's office personnel or county jail inmates have tested positive. Eleven other video visitation civilian employees are on administrative leave through April 6th. None of them are showing symptoms.
