Dak Prescott says he is glad he'll be Dallas Cowboys quarterback for the next four years. He told reporters today he wants to be a Cowboy for life and never doubted a deal would be reached.

"Overwhelmed with so many emotions right now," said Prescott. "Eagerness, excitement, anxiousness to give this organization and the Jones family everything that they invested in. That's a Super Bowl and that's to go win."

Prescott says he didn't want to leave the organization pointing out it was the team he's always rooted for. He also noted it's nice to have stability and know where he'll be for the future.

"This is my home. I'm not leaving. I'm a Cowboy," said Prescott.

"Probably from the standpoint of him, one of the real easy decisions that I've had to make in my time with the Dallas Cowboys was to have Dak Prescott as the future regarding the quarterback position of the Dallas Cowboys," said owner Jerry Jones.

Prescott and the Cowboys agreed to the contract extension earlier this week worth $160 million over 4 years. The deal included a $66 million signing bonus, with $75 million due in year-one. The agreement also reportedly included "no trade" and "no tag" clauses.

Prescott, who suffered a broken ankle last season, says he is healthy and ready to go.
