Steve Sarkisian isn't naming his starting quarterback yet for the Texas Longhorns. The head coach said he plans to "do what's best for our football team" as Texas nears its season opener against Lousiana on September 4th. Junior Casey Thompson and freshman Hudson Card have shared even reps on the first-team offense as the two seek to fill the shoes left behind by Sam Ehlinger. Thompson threw for 170 yards and four touchdowns in the Longhorns' 55-23 win over Colorado in last year's Alamo Bowl.
