Baltimore Ravens guard Ben Cleveland was arrested in his home state of Georgia last week, according to records obtained by ESPN on Monday (February 17).

Cleveland, 26, was cited for DUI and failure to drive within a single lane, according to a booking report. The guard was reportedly driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck when he was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane in Milledgeville last Wednesday (February 12).

Cleveland told an officer that he drank approximately three to four beers at a country club, but claimed he hadn't consumed alcohol within the past two hours of the traffic stop and consented to field sobriety tests, as well as a breathalyzer, which yielded a .178 BAC (blood alcohol concentration), more than twice the state of Georgia's legal limit of .08. The lineman was reportedly detained and taken to jail, where he took another breathalyzer test showing a .161 BAC.

Cleveland, who is set to become a free agent in March, was reportedly released from custody early Thursday (February 13) after posting a $1,000 bond. The former University of Georgia standout was selected by the Ravens at No. 94 overall in the third-round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has spent his entire career with the franchise, making seven starts in 54 appearances.
