Texas A&M beats Providence in NCAA Tourney

Admon Gilder led a balanced attack with 18 points as Texas A&M picked off Providence 73-69 in the first round of the West Region in Charlotte.  Tyler Davis delivered 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Robert Williams added 13 points and 14 boards for the seventh-seeded Aggies.  A&M will play either North Carolina or Lipscomb in the second round on Sunday.  Rodney Bullock scored a game-high 22 points for the 10th-seeded Friars.  Alpha Diallo added 21 points for Providence, which finishes its season 21-and-14.
