Tampa Bay Rays Win Game Four

The Tampa Bay Rays won Game Four of the World Series in Arlington, Texas. They beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-7. Brett Phillips hit an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth that was misplayed by Chris Taylor in centerfield and then the relay throw home was dropped by catcher Will Smith at home to allow the winning run to score in a wild sequence of events to let Tampa Bay tie the series at two-games apiece.

Randy Arozarena went 3-for-4 with a homer and scored the game-winning run while Brandon Lowe homered and drove in three for the Rays.

For LA, Justin Turner and Corey Seager are the first pair of teammates in World Series history to each have four hits and hit a home run. Kenley Jansen took the loss in relief.
