Recent reports are suggesting that both FOX and ESPN are desperately trying to get Peyton Manning to join their broadcast team. FOX just purchased the right to Thursday Night Football and ESPN has an opening for Monday Night Football now that Jon Gruden has returned to the Raiders. Rumors are that the offers are in the neighborhood of $10 million.
Clay Travis says that if he were advising Peyton Manning, he would tell him to take one of these offers and get inside the booth. Not only has Manning been a charismatic face of the league, even in retirement, but if Tony Romo's success is any indication, all signs point to Manning being great at the job.
