Tim Tebow has been playing well in the minor-leagues; enough so that he was selected to the Eastern League All-Star Game. Tebow started off the game with a double in his first at-bat. In fact, Tebow has been hitting the cover off the ball recently, hitting .305 in June and .390 so far in July.
Clay Travis thinks that Tebow has far exceeded expectations in his baseball career and that the NY Mets would be smart to call him up to the big leagues. The Mets are in the midst of a lost season and at this point could use someone like Tebow to drum up interest.
