San Antonio FC Adds Striker Bradford Jamieson IV Via Loan With LA Galaxy

San Antonio FC added to their scoring muscle on Wednesday afternoon, announcing Forward Bradford Jamieson IV to the 2019 team via a loan with Major League Soccer Club LA Galaxy. Jamieson has appeared with the senior team 61 times in his career, but maybe just as important from the SAFC perspective is his experience in USL play. He has racked up 57 appearances with Galaxy II, scoring ten USL goals. He has been with the Galaxy organization since 2014.

The 22 year old noted his new surroundings via a team press release, saying “I’m very excited for this new experience in a place I haven’t played before. I’m very inspired by the energy and philosophy from the players and coaches, and I’ll do my best to contribute to winning a trophy.”

Manager Darren Powell also weighed in on Jamieson IV, saying “He is a very talented, exciting, attacking player that can fill several roles within the front line for us. We are looking forward to getting him into training and acclimated with the way we want to play as soon as possible.”

With this new loan, San Antonio FC announced that a previous loan had ended mutually. Forward Jahir Barraza, formerly on loan from Liga MX Club FC Atlas, agreed to part ways with San Antonio FC.

San Antonio FC takes on El Paso Locomotive on Saturday night at Toyota Field in a Pre-Season match open to the public. Tickets are on sale now and kickoff is set for 7pm.
