Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday after suffering a right knee injury during the Spurs loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

Murray was driving to the basket when he went down and remained on the floor for several minutes before being helped off the court.

Meanwhile,  the Spurs club announced that rookie guard Lonnie Walker IV underwent an MRI examination that revealed a right medial meniscus tear which is expected to keep him out of action for six to eight weeks after he undergoes surgery on Monday.

The Rockets pulled away in the fourth quarter as they dropped the Spurs 108-93 in San Antonio.  The Rockets outscored the Spurs 34-21 in the fourth.  James Harden finished with 21 points and nine assists in the win.  Houston is 2-and-1 in preseason play and will host the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association tomorrow.
