Victor Wembanyama turned in a terrific performance in his playoff debut while leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 111-98 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game One at the Frost Bank Center.
Wembanyama erupted for a game-high 35 points while knocking down five-of-six attempts from beyond the arc. Stephon Castle and De'Aaron Fox had 17 points apiece as the Spurs took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
