Texas Slams Oklahoma In Red River Rivalry Game

The Oklahoma Sooners scored first, picking up a field goal in the first quarter, but the Texas Longhorns would score the rest of the points in the Red River Rivalry game at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday.

Texas knocked off Oklahoma 34-3 to remain unbeaten on the season. For the Sooners, it was their second loss.

Quinn Ewers led Texas, going 20 for 29 passing for 199 yards and a touchdown. Ewers also threw an interception.

Quintrevion Wisner was the leading rusher. Wisner carried 13 times for 118 yards and a touchdown.

Gunnar Helm had 5 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Texas is now 6 and 0 on the season. The Sooners are 4 and 2.

The Longhorns return home to host Georgia on Saturday, October 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
