Andy Everett is the “Voice of the UTSA Roadrunners”, the host of the “Andy Everett Show” weekdays 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and “The Ticket 760 Golf Show” Saturdays 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Andy has broadcasted more than 500 UTSA events. He became the Roadrunners Men’s Basketball radio announcer in 2007 and took on the role of football play-by-play in 2011. He has seen and called every play of every game in the Roadrunners 11 football seasons.

Andy’s career began in 1982 at the University of Oklahoma working for the campus radio station KGOU. After graduation in 1986 he spent a year and a half with OU Radio Network, before moving to San Antonio to work for WOAI-AM Radio in 1988.

He was the first Spurs studio host in the 1989-90 season and continued that role from 1996-2001. Andy also broadcasted St. Mary’s University Basketball from 1993-1997.

Andy produced and broadcasted an online streaming broadcast of Boerne High School and Boerne Champion Football, Basketball, and Baseball games from 2001-2011.

He was also part of the San Antonio Silver Stars/Stars (WNBA) broadcast from 2005-2017.

He has hosted many sports talk shows and is the primary host for the Ticket 760 Golf Show. The golf show airs Saturday mornings. and focuses on promoting the game of golf in San Antonio. It is the longest running program on Ticket 760 with more than 1300 episodes in the last 25+ years.

Andy is an avid single-digit handicap golfer, enjoys fishing, and likes to cook. He is well-versed, and “could teach a class without notes” on the history of La Cosa Nostra –the New York Mafia.
