Mike Taylor brings a fresh sound and new attitude to Sports Talk San Antonio. Taylor has been hosting the show Monday-Friday on Ticket 760 since 2007.

As a double major graduate in Kinesiology and History from the University of North Texas graduate, and native Texan, Taylor has worked in the state his entire career. He spent over 6 years with ESPN Radio in Dallas, starting out as a weekend sports anchor and working his way through the ranks to have his own show.  He also hosted Cowboys Game Day and The 5th Quarter before and after all Cowboys games.  Before ESPN, Mike worked for News/Talk 820 WBAP Dallas-Fort Worth anchoring sportscasts and hosting the Dallas Stars post-game show. Taylor says, “As far back as ever, I knew I was going to be involved in broadcasting just because I was such a sports fiend and I wasn’t going to be able to play sports after high school. I was that geek boy that did play by play while playing pick up basketball in the yard. It drove my friends nuts! I was going to call MLB games like my hero Bob Costas but I quickly realized that required way too much work, so now I do Talk.”  He adds, "It’s an honor to be a part of Ticket 760 and to be able to talk about the things that WE care about.  I'm not just going to sit in the studio and give my opinion. I'm going to go to games and talk to players for you."
