Friday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington applaud Shedeur and Deion Sanders for how they handle the hate they receive, especially as it ramps up ahead of the Draft.
Brady Quinn: "What most people don't realize is a lot of the fluff, BS that goes on around the draft, around these topics and conversations, are done by the agents and the teams, and they do them because if it's a competing agent, they're trying to prop up their guy, at least in public perception.
Teams think what they want and these agents aren't going to persuade them one way or another. They have their process of looking at it and ultimately, in most organizations, whether it's the Owner, General Manager, Head Coach, whoever is the ultimate decision maker, he's got his mind made up and he sure as hell is not talking to anyone in the media about it."
LaVar Arrington: "The Sanders family doesn't care. They're going to be who they're going to be and handle things the way they handle them."
Jonas Knox: "People are trying to find something wrong with every one of these prospects as opposed to like, 'Hey maybe he's just a really good player who believes in his abilities.' And if that's the case, I don't know separates him from anyone else who's been a really great player in the league. I don't think there's a shot in hell he gets past either the Giants at 3 or the Raiders at 6."
