Dejounte Murray to remain out vs Timberwolves

Spurs rookie guard Dejounte Murray remains out of the lineup for the Tuesday night game at the Target Center in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Coach Gregg Popovich indicated before Sunday night's 118-102 win over Sacramento that Murray would probably be out of the lineup for a few more games with a left groin issue.

Tuesday's official injury report indicates that Murray will not play on Tuesday night.

No other players are listed on the injury report.

The Spurs enter the game against the Timberwolves with a 53-16 overall record and an NBA-best 27-9 road record. The Timberwolves are 28-41 overall and 18-18 at home.

The Spurs are two games behind the Golden State Warriors for the best record in the Western Conference (and the NBA), pending the result of Monday night's Warriors/Thunder game.

The Warriors and the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers will both visit the Spurs at the AT&T Center next week.
