Should The Pelicans Have Accepted The Lakers' Offer?

Is Pride, Control, or Something Else Preventing the Pelicans from Trading A.D. to L.A.?

The NBA trade window ends tomorrow, Thursday, at 3pm EST (2pm CST) and player movement is starting to pick up - but there is only one that really matters. Of course, that would be Anthony Davis' trade request away from the Pelicans that has gone on for what feels like this whole year. The Lakers are the major player in this, with the Knicks and Celtics remaining hopeful that Davis doesn't move, making him available to them via trade this summer. The Lakers have offered a package highlighted with young talent Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram AND two first-round draft picks. If you were GM for the New Orleans, would you make that trade? We have a little conversation about it.
