Most of the time when we see Draymond Green in the headlines we roll our eyes and think "what did he do now?" However, today he is in the news for making clear the differences in how players and organizations are treated when it comes to players being traded or players that want to be traded.
In the business of trades, the organizations seem to have the upper hand. They can actively sit a player and demand that the player remains professional while the team is vocal about their wanting to deal. But when a player wants to take themselves out of their current situation and seek a trade, they must remain quite and are often painted as a villain or a cancer to a locker room.
If you haven't heard Draymond's rant from last night on the topic, I suggest you take a listen as he does make some valid points in highlighting the differences.
