Sit Down LeBron James

An L.A. Time Sports article has come out ripping LeBron James for playing so many "garbage" minutes for the Lakers instead of opting for load management. The Lakers are currently missing key players due to injury, they are in the middle of a long season (an arguably meaningless stretch) and are currently sitting at 3rd in the West. With all this it seems like any super star might take the opportunity to take the rest and be at your best when your team is at full strength going into the games that matter most. Typically when a team uses the term "load management" fans hate it because they've paid a hefty price to see a star player play and are rightfully upset when that star player is sitting on the sideline in a suit, not for injury but for load management. The fans however aren't an issue you this year as a majority of teams still do not have fans in attendance.

At the same time, this just seems to be LeBron being LeBron. He is always pushing himself to the limit. Wouldn't load management this early in the season be against his foundation that is King LeBron James? Plus now with this article, wouldn't he be viewed as maybe a little weak for saying the report is right?

James has never been one to shy away from rumors, particularly ones involving him. I'm sure within the next day or two we will get a response from the king. But what about you? If you were LeBron would you be playing all the minutes you could get or taking advantage of where the team is at this point in the season and opting for load management?

Kyler Murray Is Doing Good In His Neighborhood

Kyler Murray has donated 60,000 meals to the North Texas Food Bank following the Texas winter storm. He himself said he was in Texas during the storm along with his family, and not only did their power go out they were also without hot water. So he gets it first hand what a challenge it was and has been for some. Good on him for looking out for his home State. Sooner or not Texans should be proud to call a guy like him one of their own.

Hard Knocks Candidates

If you are fortunate enough to have HBO and you are a fan of football I don't see how you couldn't love the show Hard Knocks. It's a show I look forward to every Summer as we inch closer and closer to the regular NFL season. As awesome as it may seem to have your team featured on the show, it is often a sign that your team is at the bottom of the barrell in the NFL. The show does an incredible job depicting story lines. I often find myself rooting for whichever team was featured that year just because I come away with a connection to that team I didn't have before. But let me be clear. I do NOT want the Cowboys to be on the show. Yes, they are my team. But that show seems to have a looming curse. The teams on it never show up the following season. I need hope, not more drama.

That being said, the Cowboys are currently headlining the list of teams in the running to be on the show. If you got to pick the team from the current rumored nominees who's training camp would you want to watch?

Dallas Cowboys

Arizona Cardinals

New York Giants

Carolina Panthers

Denver Broncos

The NFL Network is predicting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are likely to put their name in the running.
