Salty Shakedown

'Sup everyone?! Let's get right to it.

New Team New Number

We heard weeks ago that following Carson Wentz's dealing to the Colts from the Eagles his new WR teammate Michael Pittman was not willing to part ways with #11. Carson had been wearing the #11 jersey since his college days but now he will put on the #2 jersey. The announcement was made via Carson's instagram on the day he officially became a Colt. No one knows yet why he chose #2. Perhaps we will find out soon.

Matthew Stafford Says Goodbye

This NFL offseason has seen a ton of movement at the QB position and there is still more to come. Matthew Stafford's trade to the Rams for Jared Goff recently ended an era in Detroit. Yesterday, Matthew and the Lions parted ways, but not without saying goodbye first in an appropriately lengthed 9 minute video.

No Screamin'

Chris and I are still getting to know each other, or likes, dislikes and so on. On today's show I made him aware that I have been wanting to take a trip to Disney at some point when all of this COVID mess is put behind us. While some theme parks have been open for some time now, those in California are prepping for their big re-openings.

Because COVID is still very much a thing California has rules in place to ensure guests at various theme parks remain as safe as possible. Wear a mask, no sit-down dining and no screaming on rides. That's right. Hide your enjoyment folks.

Now I'm not one to scream on rides. I usually find myself giggling with excitement. But I am aware that screaming on rides for some is an uncontrollable reaction that they have out of enjoyment and or fear. On the one hand, I get it. Screaming requires you to have your mouth wide open. On the other hand, if people are already wearing a mask, what's the big deal?

Check out the conversation Chris and I had as well as the rest of the Salty Shakedown by listening to Hour 2 of today's Chris Duel Show.
