Astros Outlast Mets In Extra Innings

The Astros captured the rubber match in their series against the Mets after earning a 10-5 victory in 11 innings at Citi Field. Tayler Scott picked up the win after striking out one batter and allowing an unearned run over two innings of relief. Joey Loperfido hit a key two-run single while pinch-hitting in the top of the 11th. The Astros have won nine of their last 10 games and sit second in the AL West at 42-and-41. They visit the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon. Right-hander Hunter Brown will start opposite Toronto righty Yariel Rodriguez.
